Changed Lives Open School Doors in Chandler — Fall 2020

We have responded to the challenges of evangelism with our weekly “Musical Mobile Neighborhood Outreaches.” We take music and rap and testimonies on a mobile stage throughout the community into neighborhoods and places where people gather. There we declare the Word of God with boldness.

During our very first such outreach as we prepared to minister outside of Walmart, a torrential rain unleashed and threatened to end the outreach. The brothers remembered that God promised “the former and the later rain” and persisted.

The amazing thing is that God asked Isaac to plant in a time of famine and blessed him with an abundant harvest. We were amazed as God calmed the storm and gave us liberty to minister to people in their area of need. It was as if each person’s heart had been carefully prepared to receive God’s message of hope during this pandemic.

God continues to bring hungry, hurting souls to know Him. As a direct result seven souls came to Jesus!

We have continued streaming every service even as we have reopened our services to an increasing number of believers, each hungry to gather together in the presence of God and His Holy Spirit.

It is good to have a place to gather as a body to worship and to respond to the altar in repentance as God continues reaching the lost and maturing his saints. As a result, we have seen conversions at every service! Following local guidelines, we have ramped up nursery, Children’s Church and the teen ministry, Crossfire.

We recently had a “graduation ceremony” for our recent graduates. It was powerful to hear their testimonies of how God kept them as they navigated the “mine field” called high school. It was encouraging to see the fire of God set in their hearts as they declared God faithful to his promises to bless and keep them. Pastor Campbell presented each of them with a Bible as a guide for the rest of their lives.

The Chandler church was privileged to send a team to help with the grand opening of our baby work in Houston. A number of saints responded to the call for those willing to go help in the harvest. The team was able to testify, pass out flyers and do one-on-one witnessing to a number of people near the new church building.

We were able to have an outdoor concert that evening with a number of visitors in attendance. Before it was all said and done eight people responded to the Gospel for salvation.

As a result of the changing dynamics due to the Covid-19 we have moved our International Bible Conference to October 5-9 to be held in our church facility. We, like the rest of the Fellowship, look forward to the powerful things God will do during this time as we continue to respond to the cry of a dying and desperate world.

We are excited about what God has done and continues to do in our congregation and branch of the fellowship. Pray for us as we do for you.
