Chandler Opens a 7,000-Square-Foot Church Home

With the large concentration of Hispanic and Mexican people within shouting distance of the church, it made perfect sense to host a Mexican Independence Day celebration at the church. The church provided a Mexican food dinner for all who attended. Our newest Spanish group performed with God’s anointing. A mariachi group from Tucson also performed throughout the evening bringing the message of freedom from sin through Jesus Christ. There were more than 60 visitors with eight precious souls saved.

We were blessed to have Evangelist Jerry Fussell preach a revival for us October 10-14. He brought with him a liberal dose of the Word of Knowledge, ministering timely messages to numbers of new converts, as well as older saints.

One notable word was given to a new convert concerning a certain kind of medication the doctors would try to give her and for her not to take it. She later reported that the doctor tried to give her the exact same medicine that Brother Fussell told her about in his word! He also prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit with dozens receiving this power from on high. An additional eight souls were added to the kingdom during this revival.

The congregation is again lengthening its cords and strengthening its stakes with the rental of a 7,000 sq. ft. building to hold our concert scene and other special events. At the time of this report, we are preparing it for our annual Hell House presentation, which draws between 1,200 and 1,500 people each year. We are full of expectation for what God is going to do.

We just concluded a baptism during our evening service. Thirty-five precious believers were baptized in water, confirming their commitment to Christ. The evening was filled with testimonies of God’s power to save, deliver and restore. Pastor Campbell followed this with a simple altar call with six precious souls coming to Jesus.

We continue to look to the future and all that God is going to do during this lastdays revival.
