Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Chandler

In March, we had our annual Pioneer’s Rally and this year’s theme was “Pioneering Visionaries.” Besides our conference, the Pioneer’s and Missions’ Rallies were very crucial events which have really stirred couples to prepare their lives and to go into the harvest fi eld.

Pastor Campbell preached the opening night of the rally with the powerful PPaassttoorr WWaayymmaann MMiittcchheellll pprreeaacchheess iinn revelation that “We must have converts to have disciples, but we must have true conversions to have converts.”

The Church also heard convicting sermons from Pastor Wayman Mitchell, Pastor Greg Mitchell, Pastor Jona- 4 Pioneer Rally in Chandler, Ar than Heimberg, and Pastor Mark Aulson. Each message fl owed together so cohesively that it was evident God was challenging our church to lay our lives down, evangelize, and be prepared to combat Hell in the process. In April, one of our Bible study leaders rose up and put on a drama called “The Minions.” We outreached and ministered the drama in an outdoor neighborhood park, which was reserved by a resident who attended our church. Then we baited the hook with a face painting booth, hotdogs, and lemonade.

The Minions was great draw, and the crowd came alive when the production began starting with cheers and then being captivated by the performance! At the end, of the night the Gospel nn PPiioonneeeerr RRaallllyy was presented. We saw over 80 visitors and several souls received salvation. Some men from the church also hosted a church service at a local rehab center. Many of the residents there are trying to transition back into society, rizona after serving criminal sentences, while others are hoping to be set free from addictions. The disciples who put on the event were able to gain favor with residents by serving them a bar-b-que dinner and getting to know them over the course of the meal, with over 50 men being fed. The men were very grateful and, when it came time for the service, the meeting room was fi lled. When altar call came, seven of the men gave their lives to Christ.

The next Sunday morning three of these men attended our Sunday morning services and we have been seeing fi ve to six of the men from this rehab program attend our services regularly. Two were recently fi lled with the Holy Ghost in our Missions Rally.

Before our Easter Sunday Service, our church hosted a family picnic at the park across the street. One of our couples graciously donated a mini petting zoo for the picnic event which drew people. We also had food, a face painting booth, and a egg hunt. More importantly, we outreached for the event and saw many visitors to whom we were able to preach the gospel and build relationships.

We fi nished the month of April with our annual Missions Rally. This year’s theme was “Molded for the Missions.” It was a tremendous privilege to have Pastor Sergei Golubev from Russia preach each night of the rally. Pastor Golubev opened the Missions Rally with a sermon on the need for the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. He encouraged us to pray for the supernatural and step out in faith to pray for the sick, regardless of the risk. Each night his messages charged our congregation to not settle for a mediocre Christian life, but to press in and strive for fruit.

We were convicted every service as we saw the great need for the church to rise up and be molded by God to reached the world. Every night of the missions rally many people received salvation and many people were healed.

One of the great fi nancial victories our church has seen occurred during the month of April, when we were presented with an opportunity to purchase a building and property in the Dominican Republican for our leadership church there. The congregation was challenged to raise $120,000 and at the conclusion of our Missions Rally with Pastor Golubev, it was announced we were able to meet the goal, as well as assist one of our baby churches in sending a couple to India as missionaries. People gave sacrifi cially, knowing that souls are the greatest investment opportunity we can make.

Thanks to the direction of our leadership, we will continue to be steadfast in laboring for the conversion of souls by confronting them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray for us and, as always, we continue to pray for you.
