Hope Takes to the Streets of Chandler — Fall 2016

In early June, we ministered a play on the life of Evangelist Ernie Toppin called “Toppin the Charts.” After the play, the Chandler Church kicked into revival with Pastor Toppin. He preached Spirit-filled sermons reminding the congregation of who we are in Christ, and the great need for Christians to stand up in this chaotic world.

The Chandler Church had the privilege of ministering our Native American play, “Redemption: The Rez Life” on the Gila River Reservation. The Church set up to minister the play and cooked some hotdogs. Many visitors began to show up to see the entertainment and eat free food. Visitors were touched as the play ministered the hope of redemption in Jesus Christ. We had 50 visitors and 20 people saved! Even in a place that is full of alcohol, violence, and suicide, God is still able to pour out his Spirit.

Chandler children’s church gi istered Holy Ghost songs and dramas. The Extreme Theater was packed with family and friends to see their kid(s) minister. In the end, they heard the Gospel and many received Jesus.

In August, we had our Annual Bible Conference, which is always the highlight of our year. This

Outdoor outreach in Gallup, N year’s theme was “Leadership is Revelation from God.” We heard sermons from Pastor Campbell, Pastor Richard Rubi, Pastor Packia Raj, and many more. The sermons inspired us to lead in a world where leadership is lacking, but also reminded us that leadership only comes when we submit to God and to headship.

On our World Evangelism night of conference, the Children’s Church surprised the congregation by giving $4,000 to World Evangelism.

As the week came to a conclusion, Thursday night we launched fi ve ives $4,000 to World Evangelism new international pioneer churches (India, China, Malays and two into Cuba!). Friday night we fi nalized the week by planting eleven new pioneer works into America! Sixteen new pioneer works and we have to prepare to do it all over again next year.

The Chandler Church continues to labor and strive to reach out to lost New Mexico and broken souls. We continue to street preach, minister outdoor concerts, and evangelize our city. Please continue to pray for us, as we pray for you.
