18 New Converts Graduate in Chandler

In November, we hosted our annual Harvest Homecoming for our new converts. We served them BBQ food, ministered music and drama, and gave testimonies. We also introduced them to the different ministries of our church such as Children’s Church, Sunday School, Cross-Fire (teen ministry), and our New Convert’s class. At the end of the night, Pastor Williams shared his powerful testimony and gave an altar call. Several people gave their lives to Jesus!

In December, we had our annual area-wide Men’s Rally hosted by our mother church in Prescott and us. Nearly a 1,000 men from all over the West and Southwest (including Mexico) came together to be stirred to become men of wisdom, leaders in our home, men of risk, and men filled with God’s destiny. We heard preaching from Pastor Wayman Mitchell, Pastor Aulson, Pastor Greg Mitchell, and Pastor Campbell.

During one of our regular water baptism services, we had over 20 7 converts making a commitment to die to the flesh and live for God!

Testimonies were given from church kids to backsliders to the hardcore sinners. People who were bound by alcohol, gang violence, and immorality were freed by the blood of Jesus. We are also seeing a growth in people attending our New Convert’s Class. This class teaches foundational truths from God’s word. Everyone from the old saint to the new convert is welcomed to attend the classes. This past session we had a total of 18 graduates!

In mid-December our Children’s Church ministered a Christmas play called “Arrest these Merry Gentleman.” The setting takes place in Bethlehem right before the birth of Jesus. The church was packed with visiting parents, grandparents, family relatives, and friends with a total of 35 visitors. Best of all 12 people gave their lives to Jesus.

Right before Christmas we had our adult play called “The Polar Express.” The play story is about a young boy in a desperate conflict of trying to find the meaning of Christmas. He finds that Christmas is not about presents or Santa Claus, but about the gift of God’s only Son, Jesus. We had many visitors and 20 people saved.

Our work is centered on reaching out to the lost souls and we’re seeing 100 people come to our regular Saturday morning outreaches, younger and older saints alike. This really encourages us to set our eyes to make 2018 a year of fruitfulness. With God’s spirit being poured out we are continuing to work to see the fruit of our labors.
