Hope Takes to the Streets of Chandler — Winter 2013

There is a weekly prayer meeting, initiated by the saints, where dozens gather to cry out to God for miracles of salvation and healing. There are believers fasting every day around the clock all month long on a continuing basis. Some in the congregation have fasted two to three weeks repeatedly. Their intent is to break down the devil’s strongholds in Chandler.

These prayers are accompanied with a sincere desire to preach the word with believers meeting every Monday night to street preach, This is bearing fruit each time they take the gospel to our city’s streets with lost souls coming to Christ right there on the street corners.. Additionally, every service sees new faces and first-time visitors with the altar full of those seeking salvation. This is evidently a sovereign move of God. As a result, the follow-up ministry is currently working with over 150 new converts!

We are grateful that old does not mean cold. Older saints rose up in an over-40 ministry night in our Extreme concert scene. In excess of 600 persons were crammed into the building with standing room only to witness the music and dramas. The crowd was so large that it spilled out the doors. Our own homegrown Pastor James Martinez gave the altar call as 36 souls responded to the call to come to Jesus.

As a leadership church, we were honored to host a valley-wide teen rally. The theme was “Addicted 2 Jesus.” Almost 350 teens and young adults filled the Extreme hall as Pastor Stacy Dillard of Chula Vista ministered. At the end of the night, 27 young people surrendered their lives to God.

All this correspondent can say is this is supernatural. Continue to pray for us in these last days!
