Revival with Evert Valk Refreshes Port Vila

In January we had our annual Heavens Gates and Hells Flames play with over 400 saved and many backsliders coming home. We now have four churches in the Port Vila suburbs and were able to follow up and direct many of these new converts to our churches.

In February we had Abdul Khan, a Fijian Pastor come for revival. We had 10 saved in the revival and many young couples stirred to do something for God. When an Island pastor comes everyone sits up 30 and listens because they say he is “one of us.” Pastor Abdul was also able to preach for one of our pioneer churches with great results.

In March we took six pastor couples to the first ever Pioneer Shepherds Rally in Suva, Fiji. Pastor John Gooding was the main speaker and our pastors were blessed by Pastor Gooding’s ministry.

These pastors raised their own money and paid their tickets to attend which was very encouraging to see God begin to move in finances in their churches and helpful in the spirit of poverty being broken.

In April we had a great revival with Tom Quinlan in spite of a category three storm delaying his flight and missing the Sunday services. We had 15 saved and many filled with the Holy Spirit. He also stayed and preached a men’s discipleship class in our church in Freshwater Area and a Pastor’s Lunch on the Saturday that was a real blessing of lots of questions and good fellowship. We are looking forward to revival with Pastor Evert Valk in May, Pastor Darren Munth Vanuatu men zone, in July, Pastor John Perry in August, and Pastors Erik Marino and TJ Malakula to round out the year. We are busy doing outreach, concerts, crusades, movies, revivals, and crusades with our churches throughout the summer. God is faithful adding to our churches such as should be saved.
