Norwich Celebrates 40 Years of Faithfulness

In 2024, we celebrated our 40-year Anniversary. This was an amazing time to reflect on all that God has done. Since then we have seen God continue to do great things here in Norwich!

World evangelism remains a strong desire throughout our church, and we have made many forays into the world over the last year.

We launched a couple into Hanoi, Vietnam to pioneer a new work. Pastor Taylor took five of our Pastors on a preaching trip to Nigeria which impacted everyone involved. And we also funded four revivals in Seville, Spain. We truly love to be a part of what God is doing in the world to save the lost.

Locally, we held our annual Children’s Church Conference with Pastor Fred Rubi and Pastor Matt Sanderlin as main speakers. They provided great insight, help and direction for those who are teaching our next generation. The overwhelming comments from all who attended confirmed that this was our best conference yet.

Our Harvesters Homecoming felt increasingly like a conference and with record attendances and having Pastor Daryl Elliot and Pastor Nomdo Schuitema as the main speakers, it had a great impact on all our churches.

Over the summer we focused on outreaches and concerts in housing areas all around the city and have seen many people saved and coming to church from these. A highlight of these events was a two-night healing crusade in a park where we saw many people make decisions for Jesus and many people healed!

Recently, we staged the Heavens Gates and Hells Flames production which saw many new members of the church getting involved. The result was that around 20 people made decisions for Jesus and an added blessing was the impact that ministry had on newer members of our congregation with people stepping out and being used by God.

Towards the end of our summer we were very blessed to have Pastor Greg Mitchell preach for us on a Wednesday night. We had a record attendance and the whole congregation felt very blessed through his ministry.
