A Season of Revival Renews Nakuru

Greetings from the Door Christian Fellowship Church, Nakuru Kenya. We are very grateful for the grace of God in our midst that has enabled us reach out to the lost souls and be able to fulfill the great commission “go ye into all the world…..” .In the months of June and July the evangelism team won 51 souls through outreaches and door-to-door witnessing. August was a spiritual refreshing moment for the Nakuru church with revival services with our pioneer pastor John Mccarthy from Durban South Africa and Pastor Richard Tadwa from Kampala, Uganda.
Pastor MacCarthy challenged parents to live a life of example ship to their children and in the fear of God claiming blessings as per the scriptures since their character will impact on three generations of their children.
Pastor Tadwa challenged the saints to stay focused, radical, watchful, sober and serious to be able to survive the ever-increasing challenges against Christianity.
In November, more than 10 new converts were issued with certificates after successful completion of the new convert’s foundation class.
A few testified on how they got saved and their experience so far in the Christian walk. Some admitted to have given the evangelism team a tough time but later on gave in after this team became very persistent.
Since salvation, the challenges of staying saved were far too many but through the grace of God; they have been able to overcome. Some of them are already in ministry while others have gone a notch higher to become leaders to disciple others.
On December 4, the drama team staged a powerful drama in Pondamali Market a few meters from the church location and three souls came to Christ. On Christmas and New Years Eve, the church evangelized through drama, skits, narrations, songs and dances.
On the two nights, twelve souls gave their lives to Christ. What a powerful way to end the year!
