Revival with Eric Naus Refreshes Nairobi

Although COVID hit us hard in the 2020-2021 season, and we ended up losing quite a number of congregants, God has been faithful to bring back what the enemy was trying to steal.

Our outreaches, door-to-door and Home Fellowship ministries are bearing fruits as we’ve seen many new faces joining our church and staying.

In the past year we have been privileged to see three young couples marrying in Jesus People weddings, and we are very excited and looking forward to what God will do in their lives in the future.

We have had two baptisms for our Nairobi churches held in our main church this year. It was packed to the brim with new members waiting to be baptised from our churches all over Nairobi. In the first baptism we had 80 converts getting baptised and in the second 45.

We had a team come over from Holland in November 2021 for a revival with Pastor Eric Naus. Pastor Naus preached powerfully and also performed some great music and the whole congregation was very excited.

We had another revival with Pastor Moffat Shawa from Kitwe, Zambia in February of this year and the congregation was encouraged.

Our Harvesters Homecoming was held in April this year with pastors from our baby churches ministering to us. It was great seeing what God has been doing through our baby church pastors, the maturity in them and to hear them minister God’s word to us.

Pastor Andy Anderson from South Africa graced us with a revival this year in August. It was a wonderful time of being ministered to, refreshed and revived.

We had our annual East Africa Bible Conference in September with Pastors Tom Payne and Chris Plummer being the featured speakers. This turned out to be a powerful post Covid full Conference and also the biggest we’ve had.

Saints came very hungry to hear and to receive from God and they were not disappointed as every word ministered, landing in the right place in the hearts of God’s people. At the end of the Conference we had nine new works announced. It was very exciting to see all those new couples on the platform.

On the World Evangelism front, our pastor has been very busy as he’s been able to preach revivals in Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana and was also a featured speaker in the Nigeria Bible Conference held in May of this year.

We thank God for all he is doing in Kenya and all the prayers of God’s people for us from different parts of the World. We appreciate our Pastor Tom Payne and also Pastor Greg Mitchell for your prayers, guidance and direction for us.
