Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Kisumu

My heart is certainly stirred by the lives of young men from our congregation faithful in taking the gospel beyond the four walls. The majority of them came in a few years back tormented by fear, but now they boldly proclaim Christ’s salvation across the city.

We presently have three pioneer churches out. The newest is a year old now. And all these churches are doing tremendously well. The workers there are burdened for their villages and are endeavoring to duplicate the fellowship pattern in those locations.

We held a testimony service recently. And a sister coming from a family plagued by cancer that the doctors had scheduled for tests had her results turn negative after prayer in church.

A brother who had abandoned his family testified how he met God in one of our church services, was gloriously saved and re-united with his wife and children. Two other sisters testified how God had put miracle money and high value gifts on their hands. A young man who has submitted himself to discipleship testified how God has been shaping his life and is now in the forefront ministry!

We were also privileged to have Pastor Tony Thomley from Marion, Illinois, coming in for revival meetings in February. We had tremendous services with him. One lady who had been showing up in the services gave her life to Christ and has been faithfully coming since then. Ten sick people were healed during Thomley’s revival.

Pastor Thomley also conducted a Men’s Discipleship Class and challenged the men to take responsibilities and be faithful. We appreciate the Marion congregation for sending their pastor.

We are grateful too for the leadership and direction of our national leader, Pastor Patrick Nyamai.

And we’ll forever be grateful for the exampleship in faithfulness and commitment demonstrated by Pastor Mitchell and the Prescott Church.
