Kisumu Celebrates 20 Years of Faithfulness

From Kisumu City, Kenya, we are grateful for what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing in and through our church.

In our routine services Sundays and Wednesdays, we have seen God bring in visitors, souls getting saved and healing miracles. Our church services have been of great help to and loved by Jesus Christ. the body of Christ as lives are being transformed by the preaching of the Gospel.

We thank God for the men and women in the ministry who have been of great help to the church. Their growth in the things of God is evident as they have put themselves to discipleship.

Due to this commitment, the year has been marked by powerful crusades and impact teams across our baby churches. They have been led and organized by young disciples; the first being the Bondo Church impact where we had a one-day evangelism that involved door-todoor outreaches and a crusade.

In all these we saw the hand of God as we had 59 souls saved by the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In another impact to Kilo Church, we also repeated the pattern of door-to-door evangelism and a twoday crusade that saw 30 souls giving their lives to Christ Jesus and a lady healed from back pain. The baby churches registered their appreciation of the work and support given by the mother church.

We recently concluded the Memorial Stones Sunday School series with Pastor Greg Mitchell, and we are blessed to be part of something much bigger than ourselves: Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting.

We also launched the Concert Ministry, which we now hold monthly. This has been a tremendous tool for outreach. We have seen timid disciples grow in courage and boldness through serving in this ministry. Visitors are attending, encountering the power of God, and experiencing supernatural transformation.

We have also had a revival with our national leader, Pastor Patrick Nyamai. In May this year, we celebrated 20th Anniversary of Pastor Dennis and Sister Imelda. This is a great milestone in the life of The Door Christian Fellowship Church Kisumu. We owe all to God for all that He is accomplishing in Kisumu Church.

One of our ministry highlights each year is the Annual East Africa Bible Conference, hosted by our leadership church in Nairobi. Every conference is unique and divinely timed, and we attend with great expectation and excitement.

We look to Prescott for reference and direction, continually praying for Pastor Greg and Sister Lisa Mitchell, asking for God’s abundant grace and covering in their leadership.
