A Season of Revival Renews Pittsburgh

We have seen the sovereign hand of God move in so many different dynamics as we press into the kingdom of God. We have continued the time proven method of bringing the Gospel message outside the four walls of the 103-year-old WWII veteran gives his life to Jesus in Pittsburgh, Pennsyvania church.

We have a large banner we set up announcing that we are praying for people that have a need. People have responded for prayer and for salvation. We had the privilege of praying with a 103-year-old WWII vet for salvation.

God is building a core of believers in the city of Pittsburgh. We have been able to get some of our people to go on the street with us. It has had a positive impact on their lives and their faith. It is wonderful to see the joy on their face after they have lifted up their voice for Jesus.

We did a family fun day outreach in a parking lot in the city. Pastor Shapiro brought a team to labor with us. We saw people pray for salvation. It was a tremendous time as we hit the streets with rap music and heart felt testimonies. We have seen fruit from that investment.

We have a brother in the church who had suffered a stroke on his 40th birthday. I met him through his mother who I witnessed to in the parking lot of her apartment complex. Her son Andre was in a physical rehab in a bed with very little movement in his left side. I began to visit him there and share Jesus with him. We Redlands church would contend for him in prayer before every service that God would make a way for him to attend church. That day did come. He’s in a motorized wheelchair. He came to service and gave his life to Jesus. As he would hear about our street meetings he was stirred and said he wanted to go. The difficulty was his wheelchair weighs 400 lbs. So we scheduled a street meeting in an area close to his house. He was able to drive his chair there with his caregiver walking alongside. He took the mic and lifted his voice for Jesus. It was glorious thing to see.

Please keep praying for the city of Pittsburgh. We are expecting a season of revival. We thank God for our leadership from Pastor Campo and our mother church. I thank God for men who stick by the stuff. There is victory in Jesus!
