Revival with Stacy Dillard Refreshes Bullhead City

For the past six months, our church has been experiencing tremendous breakthrough as God has poured out His blessing. In the month of February, our church had a revival with Pastor Stacy Dillard, one of our favorite evangelists. Each night our congregation was encouraged as we saw people getting saved and many of them receiving encouraging words from Pastor Dillard. In March, God moved powerfully as the crazy Canadian street preacher Dave Marks amped up our congregation to hit the streets with world evangelism and win our city for Jesus.

The month of May brought around our fourth annual Kids Carnival. This year’s theme was super heroes. The youth of our church were not ashamed to present the gospel while suited up as super heroes, some spending the entire 110 degree day in plastic and spandex! Impact teams from Henderson, West Covina, Yucca Valley, and Lake Havasu helped outreach and witness to the crowds. Bands included Truth to Expose from West Covina, and Sky Line 247 from Yucca Valley. They truly ministered the gospel through their fresh music. In our combined efforts, and God’s faithfulness, we saw thirtyeight people saved that day. They finally discovered that Jesus Christ is the ONE TRUE SUPERHERO in this life. This outreach kicked off an excellent revival with Evangelist Aaron Saavedra, in which he ministered to us timely words, sound preaching, and even a few songs. We saw a steady stream of visitors and powerful conversions. Following that revival, the Bullhead City church had a water baptism in which seventeen people were baptized in the beautiful Colorado River.

As the nation celebrated our Independence Day with fireworks and fan fare, the congregation in Bullhead City was celebrating our annual Harvester’s Homecoming! As our church welcomed back faithful workers and their delegates from the harvest field, our congregation was stirred. The theme of this Harvester’s was “Digging Deep in Dry Times.”

Our very own Pastor Lobato kicked off the action packed weekend filled with timely messages from seasoned veterans such as Dave Szczepanski, Bob and Jon Overson, and even some fresh young faces including Billy Randolph and Joshua Lobato! The Harvester’s body made their own Independence show as they boldly proclaimed the name of Jesus street preaching to onlookers and passersby on our city’s main highway. As we declared our independence from sin, numerous baby, grandbaby, and greatgrandbaby churches heralded the glory of God.

Four souls were saved that powerful day on the street, and our boldness even attracted the city newspaper in an article that seemed favorable to the truth we were declaring! Our heart’s desire in Bullhead is not only to maintain our personal walk with Christ, but to take our place as a mother church and assist the works around us.
