Praise be to the Living God! Jesus is on the throne in Havelock, North Carolina. In September, we put on our first tent crusade and teen rally. It was a tremendous success—in three nights we saw 14 saved and 14 healed of various illnesses. Notably, one man with deafness in both ears removed his hearing aids and an idol from around his neck, Pastor Grabowska prayed for the man and he was immediately able to hear! The man went from almost deaf to being able to hear from 25 feet behind. We finished up September with an awesome revival with Pastor Joe Campbell and a pioneer rally in Jacksonville, NC.
We so thank God for quality headship and the Holy Ghost preaching of these men. It was truly timely. God truly was preparing his church for his purpose. In October, we put on our first full length play ‘Heaven’s Glory & Hell’s Flames’. It was a tremendous success. In three nights, we saw 87 visitors and 19 decisions for Christ! Glory to God! The shortage of actors and stagehands was somewhat of logistical challenge for our church, but God provided. The church really pulled together and six new converts were excited to help out and make it happen. Havelock is home to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, and a CFM bible study.
One of the brothers in the church has been laboring on the base for a number of years and recently received God’s favor to do a bible study in a large Staff NCO room. There are several Marines that helped out during the play who come faithfully to church and support the Tuesday night base bible study/outreach. The saints are stirred about the fresh work God is doing in our city. Pray for us here in Havelock as we continue to sow seeds in the Lord’s harvest.
