Hope Reaches Behind Prison Walls in Havelock

The Havelock, North Carolina congr Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station.

While the base has supported the US since WWII with a solid military air defense, God has worked His purpose in Havelock and the adjacent US Marines base in eternal ways. He 8 Saved and delivered by Jesus in Grea has been saving the lost and reaching the world for the past 30-plus years in a big way through this relatively small congregation.

Pastor Scott Grabowska and his wife Kerri, along with the Havelock congregation, have faithfully kept the vision of reaching the lost into these last days, even through all the Covid restrictions.

A Bible study at the Marine barracks on the base has been very fruitful with up to a dozen people attending at times.

Six of those Marines have locked into the church, consistently attending services, and joining in with other new converts to be baptized. Revivals with Leonard Williams, Mark Tozer and Richard Romero were also very instrumental. The young Marines as well as saints young and old that came to the revivals were blessed with words of knowledge from the evangelists.

The Prison Ministry is back in efregation fect since the Covid shutdown, and those men are reaching the souls hardened by prison life in large numbers with the heart-softening love of Jesus.

When the electricity went out one Sunday, we took church outside into the parking and the entire neighborhood saw our service.

The music nights held at the Garrison building continue to be a great outreach into the community, while developing the ministry of the young disciples. The parking lot of the music at Falls, MT scene is an additional great venue for outdoor concerts, free food outreaches and Halloween Trunk or Treat events. We are looking forward to reaping a great harvest in these last days.
