A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Etobicoke

This year also marked a special milestone for our leaders - our Pastor Gene LaValley and his wife Cheryl have now been with us for three years. They moved all the way from warm Georgia to cold Canada, and while the winters were quite the adjustment, they are settling in well and continuing to serve faithfully with passion and vision for our city and our nation.

We kick started the year on fire with a revival that stirred hearts and renewed our passion for Christ with Pastor Louie Lobato Jr. We then went into a powerful Revival and healing crusade with Pastor Packia Raj all the way from India. God’s healing presence was present, and lives touched with words, restoration, and breakthrough.

Our annual Secret Sister & Gift Exchange was so timely as it brought tears of joy. It was such a wonderful way to connect the newer ladies to women within the church. This was such a great fellowship that brought encouragement, fun, and sharing not only gifts but also testimonies and prayers.

The Easter Production was a moving presentation of the death and resurrection of Jesus, bringing the message of salvation to visitors and members alike. The drama team lead by Julian Owusu did such an excellent job in bringing this production to life.

We then went straight into our annual Church Conference hosted by the Etobicoke-Mississauga Church. This was an exciting time; we were able to see our growing baby churches come out and experience the powerful anointing and move of God. God is expanding His kingdom!

This year, two new churches were planted - Halifax, Nova Scotia pioneered by Tristan and Kaylyn Alexander and Mississauga West pioneered by Ginoy and Renee Wright. Please pray for these new plants as they labor to win souls for the kingdom of God.

This year we were able to send impact teams to strengthen and support our baby churches in Montreal, Newmarket, Mississauga West, and Vaughan. We saw over 25 people give their lives to Jesus through this.

Our annual picnic and baptism was a success, and was a joyful time of fellowship and enjoyment. Even greater, we witnessed six precious souls publicly declare their faith in baptism, celebrating new life in Jesus Christ.

Our couples were enriched through biblical teaching and wisdom for building strong, Christ-centered marriages with seminars done by Pastor Garrett King from the Door Church in Tucson, Arizona.

We also had Pastor Mike Webb from Tucson, Arizona, minister powerfully and led the dedication of six babies in one of our Sunday AM worship services. It was so good to see him as he pastored the Etobicoke-Mississauga church for 33 years. We also had Pastor Botu from Nigeria who preached with great encouragement and anointing.

Our Judgment production was held around Halloween time this year. Our drama team spent hours practicing and powerfully presented the Gospel through this production, reminding many of the reality of eternity and the hope of salvation in Jesus.

- Our Christmas Production celebrating the birth of Christ.

We give all glory to God for the salvations, baptisms, dedications, revivals, and church plants this year. Truly, the harvest is plentiful, and the Lord is moving in Canada.

As we look forward to the coming year, we humbly ask you to continue praying for Canada - for revival, for souls, and for God’s kingdom to advance across this nation.
