Eden Park Sends New Workers Beyond Its Borders

Our 2018 annual Bible Conference was again a tremendous time of Holy Ghost ministry, challenges and refreshing for the Southern Africa churches, delegates, workers in both the local and international fields with churches being planted again and the kingdom being advanced.

Immediately after the conference, as part of our church’s ongoing support for our missionary couples laboring beyond the borders of South Africa, we had the privilege of Pastor Raphael Tshimanga come minister in the Eden Park Church. He is currently pioneering a church in Kinshasha in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He ministered very powerfully in both the AM and PM services leaving the church very encouraged, challenged and stirred.

These strategic invitations done by our pastor to always bring in missionary workers serves a larger purpose of helping the saints in our church to match the names to the faces of the missionary couples that our church continually pray for by name and invests in in the form of World Evangelism. It also enables the saints in our church to always hear the wonderful reports from these dear missionaries about the work God is doing in the mission fields where they are laboring beyond the borders of SA.

In November we were also very privileged to have our former pastor Chris Aulson come preach a Holy Ghost fire revival. Very timely messages were preached, the church was greatly revived we saw several souls getting saved and a few miracle healings that left the church encouraged again. We also saw faces we haven’t seen in years as the estranged dear backslidden brethren were drawn back home.

The congregation was challenged to continue to make righteous decisions with long term obedience in the same direction, even as the church gets older. We were encouraged to be unwavering in staying the cause.

In February we had our third annual Harvester’sHomecoming. It was very encouraging and stirring to see the level of growth and maturity in our pioneering pastors and their churches, of which the Eden Park mother church have invested in, and continues invest in them both financially and with laboring impact teams.

In March of this year Eden Park was “struck” by Pastor Naaman Struck accompanied by his family who is currently pioneering a thriving work in Kimberly. What a powerful revival with nine people saved, 14 Holy Ghost baptisms and six visible healings leaving our church youth so challenged. We were blessed with special music from both Pastor Naaman and his wife sister Dawn, which encouraged our youth and drama teams to do more for our Club Rock concerts.

Lastly, during our annual prayer and fasting period, Pastor Shawn encouraged us to contend for jobs, promotions and increases. He said that we should seek God’s face in this area aggressively and contend for breakthrough. God in His faithfulness indeed came through for us with a number of breathtaking miraculous breakthroughs.

One of the brothers who lost his job a couple of months ago miraculously walked into a new job. It did not take long and he received a staggering 50 percent salary increase.

Another sister resigned from her job. God opened another door, and a few months later she too received a 60 percent increase. Yet another sister in the church had her job contract come to an end. She decided to go hand her resume to another company. The very same day on her way back home, she received a phone call from her old job, asking her back and renewed her contract. That had to be our miracle working God!
