Revival with Riaan Botha Refreshes Eden Park

The Eden Park Church is thriving and souls are getting saved every Sunday. The youth concerts helped the youth lock in and serve God with their talents.

After the 2016 Bible conference we had the privilege of having Evangelist Eric Tonnemacher come and preach a revival for us. God moved amongst His people and we saw a number of souls getting saved and miracles of healing as people came out in their numbers to hear the Gospel preached without compromise. In November we had Pastor Jeff Day, who pastored the church before, and he preached messages that edified the church. A number of people dedicated their lives to the Lord and people that left the church came out for these services.

One notable conversion was a young man named Lesego who got tremendously saved and locked into the church. He was a heavy drinker; his whole life was basically focused on partying every weekend at a local tavern. He came in with dreadlocks, but his conversion was so evident that even his hair cut changed a few short weeks after his conversion.

Lesego is now serving God wholeheartedly and is in ministry, forming part of the worship team, the outreach team on a weekly basis, attending the Serious Men’s class early on a Sunday morning and is just being a blessing to the church. He’s an exceptionally talented young man, and he’s using his talent in our weekly concerts as well.

In February 2017 we had our Harvester’s Homecoming where our baby church pastors preached timely messages. It is always an encouraging time for the young disciples in our church as they get to hear the testimonies of our young pastors and are encouraged to push for all that God has for them.

Our Homecoming was followed by revival services with Evangelist Edwin Jonkhout from Holland. Great healings took place and many received a word.

In October on our weekly outreaches, a young man was invited for a movie. He came an hour early when the church was preparing for a second outreach. He went on outreach with them, and he is still coming to church to this day.

Lastly, we had our year end revival with Pastor Riaan Botha. He preached timely messages that the church needed. The believers were encouraged and two people got saved in that revival. We thank and glorify God for all that He is doing. Please pray for us as we pray for you.
