Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Everett — Fall 2023

Since launching our first-ever pioneer work there has been an increased dimension of discipleship and fruitfulness. From people rising up and stepping into areas of need to a steady influx of first-time visitors with many of them having voiced “This is my church now!”

In April we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt and it was an incredible time! The day started off with Washington’s ever so loved “liquid gold” …rain, that is. But it did not keep people from coming out and right before the event started the rain ceased! Hallelujah! This year we doubled the number of eggs and saw over 206 visitors! That’s triple the amount we had last year! So many families heard the Gospel that day and many gave their lives to Christ!

God has not only been drawing visitors in from our outreaches, but also from Google searches. That is a miracle in and of itself seeing that we aren’t the first church that shows up when people search for churches in Everett. In fact, we are number 31 on that list. There hasn’t been a service where we didn’t see at least one or two new faces.

We’ve also had multiple visitors attend who come from Africa and even Vietnam. God is giving us the nations for our inheritance! One notable mention is seeing many of these visitors get saved and straightaway getting filled with Holy Ghost Fire! We thank God for that!

We kicked off our summer with our annual Family Fun Day. Many contacts were made and many souls were saved that day including a visitor who came to church the next day from that event as well. During this outreach many of our people showcased some never-before-seen talent ranging from face painting artistry to expert soccer skills and just a creativity with games and projects. Who knew how fruitful and cost-effective “rock painting” would be!

It has been a busy and fruitful summer! On top of our own outreaches, we’ve also had the privilege of partnering in impact teams to many other pioneering works here in the Northwest!

In Mid-June, we took to the city streets of Marysville to help our pioneering work alongside their annual Strawberry Festival Parade. There were crowds of people lined up along the city’s main street open to the Gospel. It was a fruitful time of breaking ground and planting seeds.

Then in July, we took our Family Fun Day to one of Marysville’s centralized and newly renovated parks. It was UNBELIEVABLE! We had a total of 176 visitors in attendance that afternoon with 106 of them visitors!

One notable mention is a woman who had gotten saved who was so touched that she implored one of our ladies “Please don’t stop doing these! You never know who’s going to show up. I needed this! Thank you for coming to reach us!” We are so proud of our pioneering pastor and his wife and family! Please continue to pray for our baby work in Marysville.

Lastly, we want to thank our Fellowship leaders for their continued example, prayers and support! The fields are white unto harvest! Let’s keep winning souls for Jesus!
