Changed Lives Open School Doors in Everett — Spring 2024

The year 2023 was truly amazing, seeing the hand of God at work in our city and congregation in such a new and profound way! One of our biggest prayer requests for 2023 was to see two new families added to our church and by the end of the year God did THAT and so much more! We’ve seen backsliders return, spouses saved, friends and family won for Jesus that are faithfully attending church today and continue to see that even in this new year!

In August we had a special baby dedication for three new babies born this year, each carrying their own unique miraculous story. From health scares and medical issues, premature delivery to miracle healings and breakthroughs! Moments like these and seeing God do miracles in each of them brought our church together as a praying people and made us even more of a family!

Then at the end of the month we held our annual Back 2 School Family Fun Day Event and it did not disappoint! We saw many nationalities represented that day with many open to the Gospel. One notable mention was a visitor who came with their child that one of our new converts invited. He was so blown away! He shared how impactful it was that Jesus could use him to win souls and has been coming to outreach ever since.

In September we were able to help our pioneering sister church in the city of Mt. Vernon, hosting our Family Fun Day at one of their neighborhood parks. One of the biggest highlights of this outreach was seeing all of our new converts come and help set up, outreach and participate in different stations and they even invited their unsaved family to it too! AND it was pouring rain that day! If you know you know! Rain can be discouraging but there was no discouragement to be seen at all! These converts were on fire! We were excited to see two souls won that day!

In October we hosted our annual Trunk or Treat, and it was a tremendous time! We had many “trunks” in service which included our pioneering work’s new convert family! They joined us and helped spread the Gospel that day! We are grateful for the many souls that came through who heard, one-on-one, how Jesus can change lives.

Fast forward to November we had a testimony night and many of our new converts were able to testify of the Holy Ghost fire inside them and all that God had done in their lives! It was an incredible time! Many hearts were impacted and stirred! There is no stopping these new converts! Towards the end of December, we had our No Talent, Talent Show, and it was mind-blowing! These new converts no doubt have God-given talent and it was so awesome to see them perform! We can’t wait to see all that God has for us in 2024! Here’s to a fruitful year for us all!
