A Season of Revival Renews Killeen — Summer 2023

We started off this year with our theme, “Raising the Bar” where we have challenged ourselves to kick it up a notch.

We are believing God for more in all things spiritual, more disciples, more ministries to rise up, more people to get saved and more people to be added to His church. The church has been inspired to believe more, to pray more and to evangelize more.

Pastor Rosario and Pastor Ilarraza both started the year preaching about renewed vision for the lost and passion for the things of God.

Since selling our building, we have moved into a temporary facility until our building is completed. In January we had our first event in the temporary building. We welcomed all the churches in the local area for a Men’s Discipleship with Pastor Artie Aragon. Men from North Texas all the way to Houston gathered with us to be strengthened and challenged in the faith. Pastor Aragon challenged men to go the extra mile for the lost and to love people like we have never loved them before.

On the heels of that Discipleship Class, we entered into revival with Pastor Aragon. Through wonderful exposition of the word and his “Chronicles of the Navajo Nation” stories, Pastor Aragon was able to inspire us. He also challenged us to experience the supernatural power of God.

In February we had a wonderful time with Pastor Greg Mitchell who has continued to do an Area Wide Rally and Sermon Writing Seminar. He preached a sermon called “Our God is Wonderful,” that helped many understand that God is too wonderful to comprehend. His ways are higher than our ways and we can’t obsess about things that are in God’s domain. This is a key to longevity that we all must learn.

In February we had pastor Dion Howard and the “Walmart Blitz” revival. Pastor Howard taught seminars about how to witness effectively and bring people to a decision about Christ. After every seminar we visited our local Walmart and engaged people. In one weekend, we had 93 people saved! The church was excited, and we saw an increase in the number of people that have come to outreach.

April 17-21, we had our 3rd annual Killeen Bible Conference. The theme this year was “Our future.” We had more than 500 people in attendance. God began weaving a central theme about our future being linked to a partnership between brothers and not just a simple agreement of cooperation.

At the end of the week, we launched churches into Subic, Philippines, Tegucigalpa, Honduras and N. Katy, Texas. The new work into Tegucigalpa, Honduras was special because it is the first time one of our overseas works has launched a church! The work in Queretaro, MX was nationalized this year. We thank God for all that God did this year!

As mentioned at the beginning of this report we are full steam ahead in building our new facility. We are excited to report that the foundation is being poured as we write. The plumbing and utilities are being installed and we should be able to move in and hold our conference there next year. This building will facilitate all that God will do in and through the Killeen wing of the Fellowship that God is building with living stones!
