Revival with Mark Tozer Refreshes Killeen

In October we had a fall festival and we saw over 200 visitors. Out of those we were able to pray and lead about 20 to Jesus Christ.

God has also been giving us favor in seeing not only souls come in, but also these very same souls locking in and becoming apart of the Body of Christ.

As God’s people have been faithful to give, we were finally able to pay off our current church building, and have been clearing land to build another facility to hold all that God is doing. Seeing His hand move and give us favor, we are in the planning stages.

Lastly, in November, we had a Holy Ghost revival with Pastor Mark Tozer, where very timely words were 9 given, and the presence of God was evident.

One notable thing in this revival was prayer for promotions in positions, or raises in jobs, and by the end of that week, we saw the favor of God as He moved and blessed many of those who prayed.

We truly are grateful for what God has done, and look forward to what God is going to do, even as we are going to be holding our first conference, launching out souls to take the world for Jesus!

The year 2020 has been very exciting for our congregation.

After a year of meeting at a school, in a home, online and in a park, we finally moved into our new building in Lowell, MA.

This building is an absolute miracle. We were previously located in Billerica, and after many years of not seeing the fruit we’ve been praying for, God put it on Pastor Halas’ heart to move the church to the city of Lowell (about 20 minutes from Billerica). He found the building the day before he was supposed to sign a new lease in Billerica, and really felt like that was a sign that God was leading us to Lowell.

We’ve had total favor with the new landlord. She paid for the entire $300,000 remodel, with our congregation just having to pay a minimal amount. The building is beautiful, in a prime location and right in downtown Lowell. Ever since we’ve moved in, we’ve seen a steady stream of visitors in our services and some awesome, radical conversions (Krystal and Jeff’s story is below). Our church feels refreshed and is so excited to see what God has in store for us this summer! Jeff’s story: I was beaten badly from an early age. My mother was a coke dealer and I was surrounded by violent people.

Around age 13, I became very violent and ended up hanging around with a lot of dangerous and violent people.

As the years went on, I tried basically every drug under the sun. About 13 years ago I went to a rehab and they put me on the Suboxone to get me off heroin. Back then they didn’t know much about it, but basically once you are on it, you can’t get off it.

I soon realized that when I wouldn’t take Suboxone for a day or two I would be rolling in the bed in pain. The withdrawal symptoms from it are excruciating.

The first time I tried to stop taking the Suboxone, I had withdrawal symptoms for a year. The second time I tried it was 11 months. I’d have to drink half a bottle of vodka just to be able to get up and out of bed and get through the day.

I started taking the Suboxone again and honestly I was really scared that I’d never be able to get off it. Last month I was at a Kris Hart revival and God dealt with my wife and I to give a large offering. We agreed to give it and then that same night I got a word and I realized that God was dealing with me and that He wanted me to get off the Suboxone. So I decided to see what would happen. The next morning I woke up and I felt totally fine. It’s been over a month and I feel great. This is absolutely impossible according to the doctors. I’m just so happy and grateful. I think it’s just so amazing because of what a mess our situation was and God is doing things that are just not possible. Krystal’s story: I was born and raised Catholic but there was always something missing. Both my parents were doing drugs and my mom was a severe alcoholic.

At a very young age, I knew I didn’t want to be like them. I was a good kid but I kept all the bad things that happened to me inside. I started to drink and at 17 couldn’t handle anything that was going on in my life and I left home.
