A Season of Revival Renews Killeen — Fall 2016

In July, we had Pastor James Martinez, who bared his heart to us and preached a tremendous revival. some notable sermons were “Emotional Terrorism” and “No Plan B.”

The city of Killeen has been growing and changing over the decades since our church was first planted (circa 1985); the city center is moving south as it annexes land and builds new neighborhoods. Looking to the future and believing God for revival, we have purchased 12.5 acres of land on which to build the new church. God gave us great favor and we were able to obtain this land for far less then it will be worth as the city center shifts.

The church was excited to have many delegates attend the 2016 Chandler Bible Conference. We launched two works: Roberto and Kim Matias into Springdale, AR and Wayne and Diane Nickerson into Mobile, AL. We look forward to hearing of the awesome things that God will do as these couples begin pioneering in these cities.

Following the Chandler Bible Conference, we had Pastor Stacey Dillard, a great friend to our church for many years, preach six amazing sermons. Each one was powerful 9 enough to stand on its own. We had 270 people out Sunday and an average of over 200 each subsequent service.

Many visitors came out and 25 people surrendered their lives to Jesus. We were encouraged, convicted, and received revelation. Thank God for men who will preach the truth! This summer, we had the opportunity to send many out-of-town impact teams and bands to various cities. We thank the excellent leadership embodied and modeled to us by Pastor Wayman Mitchell, Pastor Joe Campbell, and our own pastor. Please pray for us as we pray for you and continue taking the land!
