New Believers Take a Public Stand in Killeen

In May, the church went to work and kicked off our Cinco de Mayo celebration. We had drama skits and music as we saw 270 in attendance with over 50 visitors! (The free tacos probably helped). Three people answered the altar call for salvation.

May is also a time for marriages in Killeen. Pastor Ron Lawhon did our marriage retreat and went right into revival the next week. It was so powerful!

One service was a deliverance service with the entire church up at the altar. He preached one service on the Holy Spirit baptism and 15 souls were refilled, with 15 more newly filled for the first time!

We also had a water baptism in May with 13 new believers baptized. Each one gave glory to God in a testimony telling of their conversion!

We stayed outdoors for the summer with a “Battle of the Bands” venue. We were so blessed to have “Soulever” from our mother church in Chandler to perform as well as “GF1” from a sister church in Austin. In about 102 degrees, we saw 25 visitors and three souls give their lives to Jesus!

In the last week in June we had a wonderful time with Evangelist Marty Carnegie. Night after night of powerful revelation and insight had the church on the edge of their seats. We witnessed 25 visitors come through with nine brand new people saying a sinner’s prayer!

On June 30, before everyone left for vacation, we hosted our “Family Fun Day” and “God and Country” celebration back to back. We had 230 people present with 12 new families visiting! Two people answered the altar call at the very end. Even our newly elected Mayor Dan Corbin turned out to speak at the gathering!

We want to thank the Lord of Heaven, our wonderful Fellowship, the help and relationship of sister churches as well as the Chandler church.
