Revival with Willis Gordon Refreshes Springfield

As we began to wind down 2022, in the month of August we had a revival with Pastor Willis Gordon from San Antonio, Tx. This was a powerful week for our church as we saw new visitors coming to every service, with souls being saved every night.

From this revival, there has been lasting fruit with new converts saved and getting locked in and being established in the things of God.

One topic that Pastor Gordon touched on was “Growing Pains” and how the church has to go through things that might feel like they hurt in the moment, but that’s only so they can grow into what God has in store for them in the future.

One of the pains we had faced was having planted a church in Austria, and not having sent our pastor to go and preach for them. Pastor Gordon challenged our church and rallied us together to raise enough money to send our pastor to Austria to preach for our baby work.

We responded as a congregation and had the privilege of sending our pastor to preach for their Grand Opening Revival. God did powerful things there in our church in Austria, many people saved and powerfully touched. There were a number of miracle healings and many of those saved have since locked into the congregation.

In early October, we had Evangelist Glen Pugliese from El Paso Tx. During this time, we were challenged on the God of the Impossible and to believe God once again for things that we may have given up on in the past. This appeared to be a time of building and healing the church and the members from within in the parts that we hide and keep to ourselves, parts that only God can heal and restore. Following this revival, we had our Mother Church pastor, Pastor Paul Stephens in November. 17 This was a week of refreshment and renewal to the church as a whole.

In the early part of the year, our pastor challenged the church to be bold and pray for the sick. One of the disciples took this to heart, and has been establishing either a healing outreach or a street meeting directly after services on Sunday morning.

In the last number of months, we have seen several of our disciples with a newfound boldness to step and out and ask individuals if they can pray for them; its exciting to see God giving them a vision to see the hurt and pain of the people of our city. From the street meetings, there have been different periods of time where we saw fruit directly from those meetings. One of those new converts is in the church today.

The hand of God is very much alive in our city, the manifestation of His Spirit is clear, and the expectancy of things to come is deep-seated in the heart of God’s people here in Springfield.

I pray all that God is doing here is not limited to this area alone and that all of our Fellowship churches break out in real-time revival in these last days. God bless.
