Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Rio Rancho

This spring Pastor Mickens began negotiating for a large, stand-alone church building in a fantastic, central location. This beautiful facility was two times the size of our current one, has plenty of parking, and was already an existing church. All we needed to do was set up our chairs, plug in the sound equipment, and change the sign!

In May, Pastor asked us to pray steadfastly for this wonderful facility. In June, Pastor Bob McGinnas preached a refreshing, stirring, Holy Ghost revival. Many timely words were given, and the church began to embrace the momentum, and pray. By the month’s end, God opened that door for us and we moved in. Since then, we have seen visitors and souls saved almost every week. In fact, we saw more souls saved in the last few months than in the previous entire year!

In July, Evangelist Jerry Fussel preached a great revival, as we saw visitors, miracles, and souls added to the kingdom. We also put on a neighborhood puppet show outreach, and saw about 130 come, and many saved.

Our Grand Opening with Pastor Teshima in October was an encouraging time. We had over 70 in attendance, and saw more visitors. Also in October we put on a Fall Harvest Festival, which had great participation from the church. There were games, booths, a jumper and a live band, and at the end saw 26 visitors and one saved.

We truly thank God for His faithfulness in all we have seen, and look forward with excitement and expectation for all that is to come. We thank our mother church in Gallup, NM for all their prayers and investment in Rio Rancho. We appreciate Pastor Teshima and the Grants, NM congregation for all their help and support, as well as all the other fellow churches that labor and pray with us. We know that even greater things are to come as we are faithful to evangelize our city, win souls to the kingdom, and disciple men for the harvest. God Bless!
