Revival with John Robinson Refreshes Jacksonville

In June we had our second annual yard sale as a way of drawing a crowd and sharing our testimonies. We had over 100 visitors and many seeds were planted.

We then set our sights on our nation’s capitol. Each summer we impact Washington, D.C. with a Gospel presentation on the steps of the Lincoln memorial.

This year Pastor Sean Gunkel and the church in Stafford, Virginia organized the event. We had great liberty to preach and share a brief history of our nation including our Christian roots. Many tourists were touched along with many from foreign countries. At the end of June, we hosted our annual Teen Boot Camp and it was a great success with many teens coming from up and down the east coast and Canada. We followed up the Boot Camp with the summer Prescott Conference and the awesome news of a church being planted in Okinawa, Japan. Many of our older Marine Corps veterans spent time on the island during the 1980s when we had a Fellowship church there. We are blessed to be able to partner with the Prescott congregation in this exciting venture. Steve and Jessica Herring and their four children left in August to pioneer this new work.

A week after conference we had Evangelist Steve Nicodemus in for revival services. This was a timely meeting! The last night we had 21 folks filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Souls were also saved and bodies were healed during our brother’s time in Jacksonville.

Our young folks in the teen ministry are fired up for Jesus and are taking charge of the song service once each month. It’s encouraging to see the young people rising up!

We are blessed to have Pastor Szczepanski and his wife, Vinita faithfully serving our congregation. They’ve been with us since 1992. We also want to thank the Bullhead City, AZ congregation for planting a church here back in 1984. Your investment is paying eternal dividends. God is so faithful!
