A New Church Home Opens in Jacksonville

Through all the good times and tough times He has caused His church to find favor in the work of the harvest and opened a door for us to buy much needed property on which we plan to build our new building perhaps beginning new construction this summer.

Last summer we had record crowds at our miracle crusade and rally, seeing God heal visitors of many different afflictions and lots of the saints healed that were in attendance from surrounding fellowship churches.

One notable miracle is the healing of a dear sister that has been in our assembly for many years. She was shot in both legs by a nut with a gun when she and her daughter were traveling by Greyhound bus from the state of Maine to North Carolina in 2001.

After several surgeries and many complications she has been able to get around with the use of a cane and with much difficulty. After over six years of hobbling around with the help of a cane for support she was totally healed last May at the healing crusade and was able to throw away the cane. She continues to this day totally free through the healing power of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We have our Healing Crusade Memorial Day weekend every year.

With the help of other fellowship churches that are in town on that Saturday morning we have been holding a Memorial Day Parade down a main street in Jacksonville having great impact in our community for the gospels sake. It has grown into a really powerful event (seeing that the community locked us out of its annual Holiday parade for a number of years) as hundreds of us take to the street in formation with American flags and placards commemorating service men of past generations and those serving for our freedom today. With a number of floats, including a few Christian patriots from around the area, the parade stretched out nearly a half mile slowing and stopping traffic while we had the opportunity to testify and preach freedom and salvation through Jesus. We capped it all off preaching to about 750 people at the end of the day!

God has been adding to His church and we are thankful for this opportunity to serve Him along with our brethren here in the mid Atlantic states!
