22 Decisions for Christ in Carlsbad

In July we had our first baby dedication of the year for baby Summer Rodriguez. Also we had Armando Montoya on July 14 for our morning and evening service. Our morning service had 45 people in attendance, with two visitors and four people saved. Our evening service had 32 people in attendance.

Two families have locked in since this service where many were impacted. Both services were translated from English to Spanish. Additionally we had a baptism where seven people were baptized.

For the month of August we had revival with Evangelist Mel Montoya. Pastor Montoya delivered six anointed services and gave many encouraging words to several couples and individuals from God.

Throughout the week Pastor Montoya was with us we had 11 decisions made for salvation, with 21 visitors.

Pastor Angel Ortiz came and did a Serious Men’s Bible Study and then gave our morning and evening services that Sunday.

Pastor Ortiz delivered two powerful sermons that changed lives. We had 51 people in attendance with three decisions for salvation and four visitors.

We had the honor of sending an Impact Team to Hobbs, New Mexico to take part in the grand opening of their 180 Concert Hall. We were grateful to be a part.

In the month of September several young disciples rose to the call and covered services for our congregation and all delivered very inspiring sermons. Also in the month of September we had a baptism where eight people gave their testimonies and were baptized.

We had two weddings in 2024. The first one was in May for Richard and Amanda Armendariz. Our second wedding was for Ramon and Brittany Fuentez in October. Ramon and Brittany had the privilege of spending their honeymoon at the Gallup Conference. We have seen God move upon this couple’s life since they surrendered to Christ.

We also welcomed Evangelist Micah Wright in October for revival. God moved powerfully upon each service. Pastor Wright gave many encouraging words to several individuals and couples. Attendance for this week of Revival reached as high as 57 people in one service.

October also brought the start to some much needed remodeling for our church. All thanks to God and the generous congregation we are a part of here in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We were able to expand our platform and congregation to allow for God to move and add more chairs.

At the end of October we had our Annual Fall Festival which was very successful! We had many families attend throughout the night. A total of 546 people who attended and 22 decisions for salvation.

One notable miracle we would like to share that took place this year. A lady and her husband were traveling through Carlsbad from New York. They stopped in during a revival service where the lady came in, in a wheelchair. She was prayed for, God touched her, and she left pushing the wheelchair! Praise God!
