New Believers Take a Public Stand in Tucson — Spring 2023

This year started with Pastor Warner preaching and announcing the theme for the year, which is, “50 YEARS CELE- BRATING AND PROCLAIMING THE GOOD NEWS.” That’s right, this year will mark 50 years since Pastor Harold Warner and his wife Mona rolled into Tucson, Arizona.

Pastor Warner’s stated burden and desire was “to see God do in Tucson, what He was already doing in Prescott.” Since then, our vision has enlarged, along with that of our Fellowship, to include reaching the world for Jesus. God’s faithfulness and blessing toward that vision is evidenced by the many flags from nations of the world that adorn the walls of our sanctuary.

To mark our “Jubilee Year,” monthly “Jubilee weekends” have been scheduled with many of our homegrownpastors preaching, and their wives testifying. This will culminate with a 50-year celebration banquet scheduled for December.

Also, in celebration of the event, our church entered a float in the Tucson Rodeo Parade. In blustery cold conditions, a horsedrawn wagon carried musicians playing, followed by church members carrying banners and flags from nations that have been touched for Jesus, along with people testifying and sharing the Gospel.

God has blessed our church in recent months with many people getting saved and a number of people being baptized with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Garett King recently preached a message pointing out that “Pentecost” also means 50. We are believing that this 50th year of ministry in Tucson will prove to be a year of significance, marked by a Pentecostal outpouring of revival in our church, our Fellowship, our nation, and the world.
