Changed Lives Open School Doors in Tucson — Fall 2020

In June, we had our first Online Bible Conference. This year we were not able to bring delegates in for our Conference, and we had to use all the Covid precautions, but God was faithful to move. We planted five new international works, and two domestic works.

Our Door Creative Media Team has revolutionized our ability to have an online presence and to outreach in harvest fields we never could have imagined. Though our physical numbers were down for our Conference, our online attendance shot through the roof. Even in the flow of our regular services, we are seeing convert cards filled out from all over America, and nations beyond. We understand that the real power of the church is expressed when we physically meet together, but the word of God has not been chained during this time.

Another highlight has been the progress of our new Sanctuary and Conference Center that is moving right along. We expect to break ground this month, and have it completed by our Conference in June 2021. The faithfulness of God’s people to give in spite of the shaking events of our world recently is a testimony to their faith and commitment to God. Please pray for this project as we enter the construction phase.

Our Vacation Bible School was online only this year with over 250 kids registered throughout the world. The creativity and burden of those ministering through this venue has been amazing. God is drawing out gifting and talent in people in a rich way. Truly what the enemy has meant for evil, God has turned around for His good.

We just finished with our Annual Marriage Retreat with Pastor Scott Lamb from Las Vegas, NV. We were hesitant to go through with it, because of fears of low attendance due to pandemic fears, but we had one of our best attended Marriage Retreats, as well as Livestreaming for couples who could not attend. Pastor Lamb did an amazing job as always, and stayed over to preach our Sunday Services also.

In times like these, we are reminded of the wonderful relationships in the Gospel we have through our fellowship. The things discipled into us through our relationship over the years with the Prescott church and Pastor Wayman Mitchell and now Pastor Greg Mitchell has been a saving grace for us. We are looking forward to all that God has for us together in the future. We know there is another side to our current struggle.
