Tucson Celebrates 50 Years of Faithfulness — Winter 2024

It was on December 16, 1973, that Pastor Harold Warner and his wife Mona held their first church service in Tucson with just a handful of people in attendance. Little did anyone understand at that time, all that the Lord had in store for the Warners, or all that He would accomplish through the church in Tucson. As Job 8:7 declares, “Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.”

We celebrated our 50-year anniversary with a banquet dinner celebration. Highlighting the night were two video presentations. One video

‘Concert on the Main’ in Tucson with Fello told the Warners’ story, how they were married and how Pastor Warner had an accident that left him paralyzed, and how that even through the difficulty, the Warners did not give up, but rather remained committed to God’s call to preach the Gospel, how they came to Tucson and how that God used their lives as a catalyst to see people saved and see many churches started. A second video showed pictures of people and significant events in the 50 years of church’s history.

We also celebrated our 50th anniversary with a Saturday night, “Concert in the Main” featuring our Fellowship’s first band, Eden, with founding member Ron Burrell. Eden 2.0 ministered with both skill and anointing. Testimonies of salvation highlighted the night. As well the concert included Tucson church’s first band – Oil of Joy, with Pastor Paul Campo ministering. Also, music from Charlotte Redhouse from the music group Firstborn, was performed.

Another ministry highlight ocy with banquet, videos and testimonies owship’s first band, Eden with Ron Burrel curred Saturday night October 7th. We held a healing crusade at Menlo Park, which saw over 50 people responding to the call to give their lives to Christ, and over 30 people were healed of various afflictions as Evangelist Frank Escobar boldly proclaimed the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We followed that up with a Sunday night healing service in our church where another 20 people made decisions for Jesus and many more were healed. We are grateful that God still confirms His word with signs and wonders following!

We as a church are extremely blessed to have Pastor Warner and his wife Mona as our pastors for 50 years. Their commitment and longevity has brought stability and blessing to our congregation. We also are grateful to be part of a Fellowship that in these last days is making great impact in our world for Jesus! Fifty years has not tarnished our vision, rather, we are blessed knowing that God’s best is yet to be!
