A New Church Home Opens in Tucson — Winter 2022

Greetings from Door Church in Tucson. We first of all want to thank all of those who have given and prayed for the completion of our new Sanctuary/ Conference Center. Without God’s help and everyone’s participation, we never would have seen the realization Tucso of our vision.
We opened our new building Sunday Morning before our Bible Conference with Pastor Warner preaching the first message entitled “The Age of Acceleration,” dealing with how God is hastening His work in the Last Days. What a way to start! A new building, and entering into Conference was the perfect way to break it in. We had planned to be in our building six weeks before Conference, but because of Covid and supply delays, etc. we had to take occupancy at the last moment.
We understand that buildings are just buildings, but there has been a new expectancy in God’s people and the feeling is we have entered a new era, and God has given us a new start. We are believing for greater impact in our city and planning ways we can use our new facilities more effectively by reaching people for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
People have risen up with fresh ideas for new ministries. One of the areas we are seeing God’s acceleration in is happening is in the next generation of young people. They rose up and were the lions share of help in completing the building as we faced the deadline. When we built this building, we knew it would outlive many of us, and it was so encouraging to see the next generation taking hold of the vision God has given us.
Our Bible Conference was a powerful time of great messages, with a mix of older and younger generations of preachers ministering outstanding on celebrates Conference in new building messages during the week. What a privilege it is to be a part of a revival that has lasted over 50 years, with now a great hope for future generations to be reached. We ended our Conference with Pastor Greg Mitchell preaching Friday morning and evening, bringing such challenging, timely and encouraging messages to us all.
We count it an honor and great privilege to co-labor with all of you in the Gospel. We know that the long term relationship we have with all of our churches, and especially our mother church in Prescott is the reason for the blessing we are experiencing today. Pray for us as we also pray for all of you to experience the acceleration God wants to bring us in these times.
