Redlands Joins a Cross-Border Outreach in San Luis — Summer 2018

In January we sent a new baby church into Rialto, CA. Richie and Katrina Ruiz have arrived in their city and have already seen much fruit. We look forward to what God is going to do in Rialto.

In March we had revival with Evangelist Steve Bowman. Pastor Bowman brought very timely messages for our congregation, and many encouraging and challenging words were given. We saw several first-time visitors saved and many healed.

In April we had our annual Pioneer rally. We had many pastors and their congregations come to hear our leaders preach. We saw about 750 in attendance Friday night, as Pastor Mitchell preached a tremendous sermon about things happening in Israel.

We were given the challenge to stay busy in these last days, and to be ready for the great harvest God is going to bring.

We also helped with the San Luis, Mexico healing crusade where many were saved and healed. It was an exciting time as the saints witnessed the power of God first hand at this powerful crusade. As good weather has come to Southern California we are now taking our concerts outdoors. Our puppet team and bands are being set up in local parks, seeing souls saved whenever we go out.

In May we had Evangelist Tory Williams. This was also an exceptional revival. Pastor Williams gave many words that encouraged and challenged lives. The saints were very excited to know God is hearing their prayers as very specific words were given.

We were challenged to say yes to God. We have seen some young people take the challenge and join the platform ministry. Older saints were challenged and encouraged to continue to be a blessing. Evangelist Williams called up those saved more than 15 years, and the altar was full. He prayed for them to continue to go for the long haul and finish the race. What a blessing to be a part of a church with older saints who are still on fire.

We also held our annual Memorial Day Picnic, and family fun day. There were about 40 visitors that came out from the local area. They 14 were encouraged by the saints who spent time with them and several said they planned on visiting the church.

Our local outreaches are Thursday night and Saturday morning. We reach people through one-onone evangelism and see between 10-20 salvation decisions in our city weekly. We have a new video drama group has begun to minister in our concert scene. They are very creative, and the gospel is going forth through this ministry.

As we enter in to our summer outreach time we are looking forward to what God is going to do. We are praying and are encouraged for the latter rain. God is definitely moving, and we are so encouraged to be alive at this time.
