1,800 Decisions for Christ in Redlands

The past six months have been a time of souls for the Redlands congregation. We have lifted the stakes and stretched out our tents. Recent construction on our building has produced a downstairs overflow room, as well as an enlarged sanctuary. We now have the ability to hold our yearly pioneer rally in our own building.

The highlight of our winter months is the annual healing crusade with Pastor Mitchell. Many surrounding churches come to help outreach for this event. The crusade proved to be successful with many notable miracles, full altars, and life changing decisions for Christ. In all, there were over 400 salvation decisions during the crusade and preceding outreaches.

Following our crusade we went right into revival with Steve Zapata from Australia. We saw people saved every night, with prayer for the sick. There were two deaf people prayed for and they both experienced the beginning of healing in their hearing. They are still believing God for full restoration. Secondly, we had a tremendous revival with Jerry Fussel in November. He had a special service where he prayed individually for people. During the prayer you were to name one specific thing you needed God to do. One of the husbands asked God to give him and his wife a baby. They had been married for three years. God faithfully heard their prayer and they are now expecting.

This January conference we launch out Albert and Breanna Ruiz into Fontana, CA. Also, Dan and Peri Montijo will be taking the work in Covina, CA. They will be leaving soon and we look forward to what God has for them.

Over the past several months we’ve sent many outreach teams to help our neighboring churches. We have a very effective drama team that is able to easily put across the Gospel message. The report is always good with many salvation decisions.

We continue to outreach Saturday mornings and Thursday nights. 2012 was an exceptional year for us; we saw more than 1,800 decisions for Christ. We are looking forward to the great awakening Pastor Mitchell spoke about in his winter Friday night conference sermon.

Pastor Mitchell stated, “This is our destiny, the reaping of the gentiles.” We are anxiously waiting for the latter rain, pray for us as we pray for you.
