Revival with Christophe Marungu Refreshes Chingola

In April of 2020 churches were told to stop meeting due to COVID 19, but God’s kingdom still needs to move forward. We started doing ministry online using an IBM platform and God was good.

The government allowed churches to re-open only if they had a permit. God enabled us to get a permit of 150 people in attendance and to meet for one hour. However, from the very start, we began contending, meeting all the THREE services trying to regain the lost momentum. God has really been helping us more especially in the area of tithes and offerings. We have seen people give more than when Covid never existed.

In January this year our Pastor traveled to Livingstone for a revival in Pastor Simon Nzima’s church, we heard reports of miracle conversions and baptisms of the Holy Ghost.

Then in March, we had a youth rally into a revival with Pastor Christophe Marungu. We saw six people saved and many others stirred for God, as people came out in record numbers despite heavy rains each night right before services began.

On May 2, we had a water baptism, and about 11 brand new converts were baptized, it was very nice to see.

Mid-month of May we sent an impact team to our baby church Kasompe to help spread the word out, as our Pastor was doing a revival for them. We saw a great response from that with 10 souls saved on the outreach and eight more in their Sunday morning service, and many filled with the Holy Ghost.
