Hope Takes to the Streets of Chilliwack — Summer 2023

Hello from Chilliwack in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We have continued to be faithful with our street outreaches through the fall and winter. Every few weeks we’re off to Vancouver for street preaching and one-on-one witnessing. We are able to reach thousands of people in this big city. We are also connecting with people through our tent outreaches at 5 Corners and our occasional band outreaches to our church in Mission.
As the weather improves we’re excited to have more band outreaches outside and we’re believing God for a fruitful spring and summer. It’s interesting to see how people are more open to listen to the Gospel while eating a free hotdog or drinking a free soft drink.
It’s been announced recently that the Chilliwack church will be partnering with the Vologda, Russia church to support a new work in the country of Kazakhstan. We ask for your prayers in this endeavour.
In the last few months Pastor Marks has had the opportunity to minister in our churches in Cuba and in a series of meetings in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. This has enabled some of the men here in Chilliwack to preach and has been a tremendous privilege for them.
You can feel an anticipation in our church because God’s presence is always there. Our new people are coming faithfully and we thank God for His hand on our church and our Fellowship. God’s blessing to you all as we continue to fight the good fight of faith.
