Changed Lives Open School Doors in Cebu City

Many visitors made a decision to receive Jesus with eight precious souls baptized in water. One of them testified that she was a lesbian before and got involved in a wrong same sex relationship. Her aunt invited her to church, she opened her heart and experienced the love of Jesus.

On one of our Sunday service, she boldly testified that she’s no longer a lesbian but a real lady.

Churches also gathered for a summer youth camp. Attendance reached 137. Youths were challenged on living clean and holy as they follow Christ in their lives. Some youths are now involving in church ministries and evangelisms.

Stations of the Cross on public plaza was dramatized as many religious debaters persecuted the said event. Despite of the persecutions, the Gospel was boldly preached and a lot of souls received Christ in their hearts. Pastor Christien Sims with his two other disciples also witnessed the drama outreach.

Daily Vacation Bible School reached 200 children. Glory to God some children are now attending church services. Their parents were blessed that these children, at an early age, were already influenced to do vices but praise be to God, the gospel was shared to them and their lives were changed. They were now encouraged to finish their studies and to continue following Christ.

Central Visayas Bible Conference was held last August 17-21, 2015 themed “The Prize of the High Calling (Phil 3:14)” With us was Pastor Dave Stephenson, Pastor Gary Marsh, Pastor Frank Buenaventura and some of our local pastors. Different powerful sermons were imparted hence encouraging us to never give up on serving God for this is the highest calling and God will faithfully reward those who love him. Attendance Bible confere reached 640.

On the last night, six couples were announced. Another five precious souls were baptized in water last Sept. 13. Four of them are men and are now committed in morning prayer.

We thank and glorify God for all the fruitfulness and breakthrough brought here in Central Visayas. We also thank Pastor Wayman and Greg Mitchell for imparting to us the vision. We thank the Prescott church and all the churches for continuous support in prayer and fasting. Truly, our fellowship is living with the vision. Glory to God! Testimony: Jamaica Masacampo

My name is Jamaica Masecampo. I am 17 years old. Before I gave my life to the Lord, I was empty and broken. I was longing for my father’s love and care because every time he saw me, I felt unimportant to him.

My father loved doing his vices and Jamaica drugs than caring for his Masacampo family. My ence in Cebu City, Philippines parents are always fighting. I was confused and don’t know what to do.

My older brother died before I was born. I thought my father wanted a son so I decided to be a lesbian because I want to please him.

My friends at school taught me to skip classes and I started to drink, smoke and disco bar then get involved in a same sex relationship. Later, I felt so empty, lonely and miserable. Then, I became rebellious to my parents.

My uncle shared to me the Gospel. He told me that Jesus loves me and will give solutions to my problems and will give me real joy. So I opened my heart and I received Christ as my personal Lord and saviour.

For the first time in my life, I felt the love inside of me. I stopped my vices and being a lesbian. I’m happy that there’s a Father’s love from above. I felt forgiven, clean and satisfied. In gratitude of God’s love, I let my life used by God. I come to church services, morning prayer, choir, and evangelism. I give all the praises and glory to Jesus!
