Hope Reaches Behind Prison Walls in Cebu City

Greetings to all brethren in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I give my report last Winter Conference 2009 of what the Lord Jesus has done in Cebu City, Philippines. One of our daughter churchs in Mandaue City, has continued prison ministry and was able to baptize totaling 63 souls. Last January 1 after the New Year’s celebration here in Philippines, particularly in Cebu City, it’s a tradition for people to crowd the beaches for swimming, family gatherings, and parties.

We prepare for this occasion together with the North district daughter churches and the mother church. We go there always to baptize. This New Year we were able to baptize 42 souls. We did a concert, shared testimonies, drama and preaching the gospel. We get more of their attention, and many people heard the gospel and received our Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to Jesus.
