Healing and Hope Mark a New Season in Blythe

ministers in Blythe revival since the transition from Pastor JW and Anna Ballinger, who answered the call to be missionaries, to Pastor and Melanie Neal. There has been a long line of great men and women who have labored in this city and their investment is not in vain. We are seeing a great harvest from years of faithful men and women sowing seeds here. The prayers and faithfulness of the saints in this precious congregation have also greatly impacted the city and we are consistently seeing miracles that we can attribute to y doors in Blythe the prayers and faithfulness of Gods people.

In August, we hosted a Family Fun Day at the main park in the city. We had a great turn out with over 100 visitors and many answered the call for salvation.

We had some unexpected, though welcomed results from that particular event. This event was a catalyst in a chain reaction which caused doors to open in this city. Shortly after that event we went to the local Chamber of Commerce to see how we can participate in an annual citywide event. When we told them what church we were representing, the city offi cial asked if we were “that church that recently hosted a Family Fun Day” in the park. We told him that we were and he said he had been looking for someone who could run the whole children’s section of the upcoming city-wide event.

Not only did they allow us to have our puppet team perform and outreach the event, they provided all of the supplies. We saw hundreds of visitors and many people saved. It didn’t stop there! They were so grateful that we were being willing to do it, they handed us a check to support our church and they have invited us back to each city event. God has shown tremendous favor to our church with city offi cials.

In December, we had a fl oat in a city-wide parade. We passed out fl yers advertising for an upcoming revival and Christmas play. Not only did we get huge exposure, but many people came out to our events and got saved.

In November, December and this past March we had timely revivals with Dennis Wright, Kris Hart and Keith Sullivan. With each revival, we saw God add to our church, not only in new converts but in the lives of the faithful saints.

The fi rst revival, many people got saved. They received words that were so spot on. In the second revival, those recently saved new converts attended…and brought in more people. The latest revival continued to build on that and brought added growth to our church.

Each evangelist sought the mind of God for our congregation and brought timely messages and words that will forever change our lives. Each revival brought a lot of healing, deliverance, restoration and direction in the saints of the church, as well as spiritual maturity to both the new and old converts.

To prepare for each revival, we have had several impact teams to come from neighboring cities. We are so grateful for the investment from Yuma, 1st Phoenix, Palm Desert, Chandler, Yucca Valley, North Phoenix, Twentynine Palms, Rubidoux, Lake Havasu and of course “mama” Prescott. Through their investment, we have covered this city with fl yers and seen scores of people saved. We are truly grateful to each of these churches for sending teams and taking the time to help us win our city.

We are experiencing a time of people rising up and joining or starting new ministries. Our youth have also been rising up and forming bands, puppet teams and a choir. It is so awesome to see even the children getting involved and being used to spread the message of Jesus Christ.

Never underestimate the youth. There is a powerful dynamic involved when the youth evangelize. God has been and will continue to use the next generation and generations beyond.

Our church recently received a word that “people know who we are and are getting curious about what is happening at ‘that’ church” and we are watching that come to pass. We are having supernatural favor in this city and fruit that is remaining.

We would like to express our gratitude to our mother church in Prescott and our pastors, Pastor Mitchell and Pastor Greg. You all have no idea how much you have impacted our lives. We cherish the Prescott congregation and our pastors and their investment. We are so grateful to be a part of this fellowship.

Through Prescott, we have a prototype to pattern our churches after, and that is priceless. We will continue to do what we have been trained to do and win our city for Jesus Christ and reach entire nations beyond.
