Revival with Rick Buchholz Refreshes Mora — Fall 2011

We are fortunate to be servants in God’s kingdom as we continue to declare His truths.

In March of this year we were privileged to have Pastor Bob Montoya come do a revival for us. During the outreach for the revival we had one man who had recently completed a stay at Alcoholics Anonymous give his life to Jesus. He came every night of the revival and testified that God had completely delivered him from alcohol.

There were a total of eight people who gave their lives to Jesus through that revival. One girl that got saved in the revival was filled with the Holy Spirit while praying at the altar. God is still working in her life as she continues to serve Him.

In May, we had a revival with Evangelist Rick Buchholz. Again, many visitors attended and at the end of the revival, three families were added to the church and they continue to serve God with us in the church. Following the revival we had a water baptism, then the following Sunday three more people were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Every service we continue to see visitors come and the new converts continue to hunger for more of God.

We have also begun a Children’s Church ministry, and we are seeing fruit from that ministry as the young children from our church are excited and inviting their friends to church.

The church is stirred and very excited for what God continues to do through this church in this small town. We thank God for our Mother Church in Las Vegas, NM, Pastor Ray and Patsy Rubi, and the vision of this fellowship to reach a lost world, especially a small town like Mora. Continue to pray for us as we labor in the wonderful will of God.
