A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Cali

On Friday October 19, we presented the drama “El Chavo Del Ocho” brought to us by our sister Churches in Bogota. A total of 32 people responded to the altar call and it was the first time we saw this number of people pray the sinner’s prayer.

There was a Holy Ghost atmosphere and it was a tremendous time. It was a great turnout and people wanted to take photos with the play characters.

The following day, we had scheduled a 7 p.m. healing crusade at another park near the church, with Pastor Galvan. When it seemed as if the rain wouldn’t stop, the chair rental people did not show up with the chairs and it seemed as if the whole thing was going to be “washed out,” no pun intended.

God once again showed himself faithful. Just around 6:30 p.m. the rain stopped, we were able to borrow some chairs from the president of the “junta comunal” (Neighborhood Association) and little by little people began to come. We had about 30 people in attendance and 11 of them responded to the altar call and tangible miracles took place.

Pastor Diego Galvan ministers in al. Pastor Diego Galvan came and preached our first full revival and we had first time visitors in every service, timely words were given and it seemed that we have began to turn the proverbial corner here in Cali.
