Greetings from Hyannis, MA. We finished up a full Cape Cod summer with our annual March for Morality. Eleven northeast churches joined the Cape congregation to march down Main Street proclaiming that Jesus is the only real fix for a broken world. Floats, signs, bands and around 200 people made a public stand for Biblical morality. Perfect weather drew a steady crowd of shoppers and tourists to the Hyannis downtown to hear the Gospel message. Following the parade, we kicked off revival with Pastor evival Willis Gordon. There were visitors in every service, several decisions for Christ, people baptized in the Holy Ghost and powerful healings. One visitor came in walking with difficulty using a cane and after prayer was able to walk unaided.
In October we hosted the Northeast Harvesters’ Rally. Pastor Artie Aragon preached anointed messages both challenging and encouraging the pastors and disciples who labor for God’s kingdom throughout this region of the US.
From there, we switched gears for our first Haunted Hayride. It has been many years since the church did its Haunted Houses, and a whole new generation was inspired to take advantage of the popularity of Halloween to present the Gospel. The scenes were designed, written and acted by teens raised in church with a burden to reach their friends and peers. A hardworking crew of saints pulled together to put on a frightful - and fruitful - event. More than 100 people went through the hayride, with around 60 decisions for Jesus.
The Cape church is excited to see all that God is doing in the Northeast as we contend for revival!
