Hope Takes to the Streets of Sierra Vista — Fall 2009

We kicked off the summer street preaching on the main street in our city, gaining liberty and dominion, and seeing many filled with the Holy Spirit boldness as they let loose the gospel.

It has been more than six years since the city has let us participate in any city functions, but this year God has given us liberty and we have been able to be involved in not only the annual citywide Block Party, but also in the annual Fourth of July Celebrations performing our own version of “God and Country” twice on the same day.

We have also begun outreaching untouched areas outside of our city, setting up block parties and concerts seeing many visitors and souls saved.

Our young people have vision and have begun to rise up like never before getting involved. Starting a band, they took it to our local skate park and saw more than 50 visitors, many responding to the call of salvation.

We truly are experiencing the hand of God upon our church. Doors are beginning to open on Ft. Huachuca once again and we are seeing soldiers and Marines getting saved and locking in.

Recently Pastor Olmstead began focusing our Wednesday evening services on healing and praying for the sick, encouraging the congregation to believe God for miracles. God healed a brother in the church of a hernia, skin disorders have cleared, a lump in a young boy’s back disappeared and a precious baby in the womb tested healthy in a sonogram test for listeriosis.

We give Jesus Christ all the glory for what is happening here in Sierra Vista. Pray for us as we continue to reach our city for Jesus Christ!
