A Healing Crusade Stirs Faith in Sierra Vista — Fall 2020

With not having any infrastructure in place to do Livestreaming, we faced many challenges that we had to overcome.

We were in church one day, and found out that we couldn’t be in church shortly thereafter. Like many of you, there were a lot of hurdles to jump over, mountains to get around and valleys to travel through, but GOD is always faithful! With every need, there is always a way.

With our Livestream up and running, we never could have imagined the impact that we were going to have, the people that were going to be touched and the testimonies that were going to be told through this ministry. In one couple, the wife came to our church many years ago. They lived in California. Through the relationships that she built many years ago, they began to watch our Livestream, began to get fed, and ultimately chose to move to Sierra Vista. They are both here now and faithfully serving God! It has been amazing to see what God can do through the air waves, with people that we can’t see. In January, our pastor told us that this would be the year of the backslider. Boy was he right! In the past six months we have seen an influx of backsliders returning. One of those has a grandmother that has been in our church for years. Through the faithful prayer of the saints of God, he just recently returned, got his heart right and got married. He, his wife, and their children are still faithfully attending and pursuing all that God wants to do with their lives.

With the challenges presented to us, we have had to look at different ways to get the Gospel to the streets.

In August, we had a “social distancing” parade were we put a speak- Backslider returns, marries, serves God in Sierra Vista er in the back of a truck, lined up cars with signs/posters and went through a residential area declaring the Gospel and giving testimony to all that God can do. The parade ended at a local park with an open air healing crusade.

At that healing crusade, there was woman who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She got prayed for, for healing. This last Sunday, she testified about how God had healed her. The doctors didn’t even finish the testing they were supposed to do. They just told her that there was nothing there. Praise God for his healing power!

We are so thankful that God is faithful, and in control, even when we don’t know why things are happening or how they are going to work out.
