New Believers Take a Public Stand in San Antonio — Winter 2012

Although we have seen a very dry year in weather, God continues to move and we have seen many new families come to know Christ.

In particular, one family that has been praying for their children and grandchildren for years has finally seen them come to Christ and now represent several generations in our congregation.

There has been a great need for several water baptisms and baby dedications throughout the year and the church has risen to the challenge of taking the reins to see these new converts through.

As always, our presence could not be denied at our annual Fiesta Outreach where several of our local fellowship churches came together and literally thousands of souls passed by and were dealt with the most important decision in their lives.

Right in the middle of a hot summer, our Believers Boot Camp had the opportunity to reach out to more than 300 young people from the area. Lives were changed and these young people will never be the same by the power of Christ.

Our annual South Texas Bible Conference in October proved fruitful once again and we saw many new stateside churches being sent out. The conference body was ecstatic to be a part of sending out new international churches to South Africa and China.

The end of October saw God’s people rally yet once again as we set up our “Real Haunted House” and Fall Carnival outreaches. We saw 400 people go through the haunted house and 180 responded to the altar call. These outreaches are always demanding but the response always makes the labor worth it.
