Revival with Mark Benavidez Refreshes Las Vegas

Several have been baptized in water and baptized with the Holy Spirit. One young man got so fi lled with the Holy Ghost that he continued to speak in tongues for a while and when he fi nished speaking his whole countenance changed. Glory to God!

God has opened an offsite venue at the New Mexico Highlands University campus so that we can have our biweekly concerts. We have seen several visitors attend from the campus and the city. God is using our concert ministry 9 to reach the unsaved.

In January of this year we had a timely Holy Ghost revival with Evangelist Mark Benavidez. God used Mark to speak specifi c words into our congregation, the lives of visitors and individuals. Several were saved, healed, and fi lled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Messages were preached that encouraged and refreshed Gods people.

In February we had two key annual events. The fi rst was our Valentines Marriage Seminar with Evangelist Fred Gonzales Sr. and his wife Mary Lou. He challenged us to let God renew and refresh our marriages and commitments to each other. Then we had our Father/ Daughter Seminar with our Pastor - who challenged fathers to be their daughter’s protector and holy covering. He also challenged the daughters to be willing to respond to their fathers love and care of them.

In March we had an outreach to one of our care groups that is located in the small village of Villanueva. One of our Spanish bands - Los Testaments - performed; we had skits, and served food. Eight precious souls responded to the message of salvation.

In April we had an outreach to the city of Tucumcari – which is approximately one hundred miles from Las Vegas, NM, where one of our couples has been doing a Bible study faithfully for a year. Our children performed an Easter play where more than 30 visitors attended and 10 prayed a prayer of salvation.
