Music Opens a Door for the Gospel in Redding

What a privilege it is to have Pastor Bob and Trisha Montoya (the pioneers of the Redding church) back to the city of Redding and what an honor it is to be a part of God’s work. We bring a victory report of all that God is doing.

We began our second half of the year with a water baptism in June. We had six souls take the step of obedience to dedicate their lives to him.

We then followed that with a concert and a breakdance competition for the Fourth of July. We saw many visitors, and got the opportunity to testify to a great number of people. That night 18 people repented and surrendered their hearts to God.

We also had the opportunity to have the drama team from Reno, Nevada, come and give their “Faces of Meth” production at the beginning fter drama in Redding, California of October. We had many visitors that were facing these exact things and lives were definitely touched that night. We had 50 visitors and 14 people gave their lives to Jesus.

We recently had our harvest party for the kids in October. We saw many families attend, and had the opportunity to witness and invite them to our services. That same night we ended with a concert and “The Walking Dead” drama. We saw nine souls saved.

This year has brought a refreshing Spirit and life to our congregation. We are starting to see people step up in ministry and men rising to be discipled. We continue to see backsliders come back, repent and rededicate their lives to our Lord and Savior.
