Chicopee Celebrates 40 Years of Faithfulness

This year we celebrated our 40th anniversary. At the banquet we were honored to have Pastor Paul and Linda Campo and Pastor Keith and Kerri Sullivan, who pastored the church for 10 years. The congregation rejoiced as they recounted so many of the great victories that God has given us as well as the storms that He’s been faithful to bring us through.

The church has recently seen a maturing and growth in many of the disciples - they’ve begun rising up and taking initiative in many different areas. The majority of the labors of this past year, ranging from a full calendar of events, to the outreaches, as well as the follow-up, has all been spearheaded and led by these men.

We are witnessing a renewed expectation in the lives of our older saints as well - some who’ve served faithfully for several decades. There have been many testimonies of a renewed vitality and of refreshing in their walk with God. Some of these “seasoned” saints started doing their own outreaches each week, and the church is seeing fruit directly linked to these outreaches.

It’s made a noticeable difference in the numbers of people responding to invitations for other events as well.

The leader of our IGNITE ministry said - “We can see the difference in real time of the number of people registering online for our events.”

The impact of this season is also being felt at home as numbers of people are seeing God’s blessings on their jobs.

Reports of raises and promotions have been frequent! Many have had favor with their hours and shifts being changed, allowing them to be at church.

Recently, we have seen God drawing back to Himself kids who left the church years ago, when they were teenagers. They’re rededicating their lives, getting filled with the Holy Ghost, and being converted - Glory to God!

The following is a testimony of two of those kids, and this is just a part of what God has been doing in the Northeast. We are excited to hear all the reports of what He’s doing in the region as we contend for souls and pass the vision to another generation.
